Zimbabwe’s central bank released on Friday December 12th a 500 billion dollar note. This half billion note was worth about 10 U.S. Dollars at the time of release.
Just the previous Thursday the Zimbabwe government released a 100 million dollar note at the time worth 14 U.S. Dollars. Now it is worth approximately 50 cents.
Just a few months back on July 30th 2008 the the Zimbabwe dollar was redenominated, ZW$ 10 billion would be worth ZW$ 1
