Ah, the fruits of zero tolerance in a post 9-11 world have given us this bit of insanity.

Two Bronx New York 4-year-olds were handcuffed by a school safety officer for the high crime of refusing to take a nap.  A substitute teacher took pre-felons Jaden Diaz and Christopher Brito into an empty classroom.  They were then met by a ’safety’ officer who handcuffed their tiny wrists.

They were also reportedly told that they’d never see their parents again. Certainly this punishment fits their unspeakably heinous crime.

Surprise, surprise, the parents are suing.
