Dennis Miller’s Advice for 20 somethings

October 13th, 2007 · No Comments

No matter what your feelings are about Dennis Miller and his political views he was some amazing advice.

From the Dennis Miller Radio show October 11, 2007:

“…I would tell a kid out there listen, I’m not tellin’ anybody to jump ship because I don’t want to do that thing where you ruin your life, but if you have something you burn to do and you’re in a job right now in your early 20s and it looks like it could be a thing that’s safe and secure you really got to think it out for yourself because I don’t want to be the idiot who leads you off a cliff here, I don’t want to pied piper you.

But I will tell you this, you have to think long and hard about what you want to do for your life and if it isn’t it only gets harder everyday day you wait to bolt.

So like I said, if you got a good job out there, you’re happy with it, that’s fine. You aren’t going to listen to me anyway I’m a radio show host.

But if you are a kid that’s got some kind of artist jag in you, I don’t know what it is, you got to roll the dice brother or it’s going to haunt you.”
