It is time for another thrilling installment of Church Marquee Wisdom. Today’s marquee sign tidbit “God doesn’t promise a comfortable journey, only a safe landing”.
Translation: Going to church and praying is no guarantee that your life won’t be a tourtured wreck. Suck it up, take it like a man ( or woman) and when you expire, maybe you’ll get to see grandma again.
