It’s not just no drugs, it’s also no hugs allowed at an Oak Park Illinois middle school.

The Principal of Percy Julian Middle School Victoria Sharts had a problem with “hug lines” in the halls so she decided to ban hugging.

Sharts said that hugging was “more appropriate for airports and family reunions than passing and seeing each other every few minutes in the hall”.

The nature of the hugs don’t always appear innocent to Principal Sharts, “too long, too close, and usually between boy and girls”.

With the anti-bullying campaign in full swing ‘high fiving’ in the hallways is also a no no. Perhaps it won’t be long before they ban eye contact.
